Rene Rostaing is one of the star producers of the Northern Rhone. Having built up his domaine entirely from scratch, his first wine was made in 1971 from just two hectares of vines. He soon set off on a mission accumulating some of the regions most prized parcels, not least those he inherited from Rhone legends Albert Dervieux (his father-in-law) and Marius Gentaz (his uncle), whose now nearly impossible to find wines have an almost mythical status and a price to match! This cuvee is made 100% from vines that were inherited from Gentaz.
