Refund policy
Cellar Select Ltd adheres strictly to a condition code regarding all wines. All suppliers have been informed in writing that capsules and labels should be in good condition and that ullage descriptions should conform to base neck or better. We take great care with regard to provenance and storage conditions, therefore at our complete discretion we will consider replacement on an individual basis for wines found out of condition. In the event that a wine is found to be corked, Cellar Select will be under no obligation to replace or offer compensation, and any decision will be made at our discretion. Cellar Select Ltd is not responsible for the state and condition of wine or whether the wine corresponds to the qualities which might be expected from its description.
Any wines that have a known defect such as a torn label or lower than expected fill level will be offered alongside a photograph detailing the issue. We will not accept responsibility for any minor or inconsequential issues.
For older wines, we would always recommend a longer preparation time before serving. Older wines should be stood upright and rested for a few days before opening and serving, and many younger wines will benefit from decanting either immediately, or several hours before serving.
