Established in the 17th century in the village of Bouzy, the Brice family have supplied the major houses for several generations, but they began producing their own champagne in 1994, from their 8 hectares of vines spread out over four of the most historic Grands Crus villages: Aÿ, Bouzy, Cramant and Verzenay. The impressive broad slopes, fully south-facing, set just far enough away from the Marne River sets Bouzy amongst the warmest terroirs of the Montagne de Reims, and it is highly regarded for producing some of the finest and more aromatic Pinot Noirs.

Through meticulous grape sourcing and a talented winemaking team, it is no surprise that Brice is considered by many Champagne experts such as Richard Juhlin (champagneclub.com) as “a fantastic value for money” and a go-to estate by Peter Liem (champagneguide.net) who says “Brice is famous for the quality of the Pinot Noir from Bouzy”.

I personally think that the Heritage Blanc de Noirs is an absolutely stunning Champagne at a brilliant price point.
