Alongside the Maison’s estate-owned vineyards, barrel vinification, reserve wines aged in magnums, and honouring the importance of time, Pinot Noir is one of the five pillars defining the Champagne Bollinger style, living proof of the company’s heritage and savoire-fair since 1829. Pinot Noir is the most planted variety on the estate, accounting for 60% of the Maison’s 180 hectares of family-owned vineyards. 104 hectares are Grands and Premiers crus, with most of Champagne Bollinger’s Pinot Noir parcels found around the Montagne de Reims, with Tauxières as a key plot for the house.
 
PN TX20 is the 6^th cuvée of this Champagne to be released and only the 2^nd to be produced from the Tauxières Premier Cru. Situated on the southwest slopes of the Montagne de Reims, the Tauxières cru benefits from a unique exposure and soil, blending chalk and clay, creating ideal conditions for the Pinot Noir to thrive. This prestigious vineyard is renowned for the freshness, elegance, and aromatic complexity it imparts to the wines and it is from this exceptional terroir that the PN TX20 cuvée draws its structure, precision, and distinctive character. Despite the naming of the vintage on the label, this is not a vintage cuvee, but a blend - 48% of the champagne is from the 2020 vintage, with 52% reserve wines, some from 2019 aged in wood, plus a good dollop of both 2012 and 2008 aged in magnums - Bollinger’s signature.
